| Pegasus Imaging introduced ThumbnailXpress as both a .NET control and an ActiveX COM control with the release of ImagXpress Version 8. Instantly add thumbnail image support to your applications. Rapidly filter and organize large groups of images. Preview small thumbnail images, opening the full-sized versions only as you need them. Most imaging solutions can be greatly enhanced with the powerful thumbnail features found in ThumbnailXpress. Preview multiple single-page files in a directory. Or, click on a file name and display miniature views of each page in a multi-page PDF or TIFF file. Files can be managed by file name, extension or type, date and time, or size. ThumbnailXpress excels at high-performance thumbnail image display by generating them asynchronously for the fastest speeds possible. Reduced-size images can be cached for rapid scrolling and redisplay. Control the amount of memory used through the caching support options. ThumbnailXpress is also extremely flexible, so you can match it to other elements in your GUI. Set up thumbnail displays with either horizontal or vertical scrolling. You can decide the size and location of the container. Determine how much space to include between thumbnails. Choose almost any size and color for thumbnail borders and background colors. Automatically build captions including file names or other information for each corresponding image. Choose from an extensive list of font formatting options.
