Overview |
This software development kit (SDK) provides imaging technology designed to enhance security applications. PICTools Fingerprint contains low-level C libraries providing compression and decompression engines, including the WSQ file format. It provides total control over image manipulation, compression, decompression, and conversion. PICTools technologies are supported across multiple environments, including 32-bit Microsoft Windows, 64-bit Microsoft Windows, 32-bit Linux, 64-bit Linux, 32-bit Sun Solaris, 64-bit Sun Solaris, AIX, and more.
The FBI certifies PICTools Fingerprint meets the accuracy requirements in the WSQ Gray-Scale Fingerprint Image Compression Specification based on the results of the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) review.
