IMAGES ASaP!™ VERSION 2 RELEASED BY PEGASUS IMAGING CORPORATION

TAMPA, FL, June 12, 2002 - Pegasus Imaging Corporation, a leader in digital imaging technology, recently released Version 2 of Images ASaP!, its ASP object for image compression and manipulation. Pegasus is committed to developing solutions and providing advanced imaging technology to the Internet application development market.

The Images ASaP! ASP object provides developers with a high-level interface into advanced image manipulation and recompression technologies. Images can be acquired from web browsers and processed in memory or on the server's disk using the included upload capabilities. JPEG optimization, regional compression, image rotation, cropping, resizing, hue, brightness and contrast adjustments, watermarking, and many image effects can all be performed server-side using Images AsaP! Advanced red eye removal technology is also available to add to web photo editing applications.

New features include automatic color leveling, the resize function now supports distorting the aspect ratio, and the GetUploadSize function allows verification of the amount of data received. In addition, exact crop and rotate functions for applications requiring exact dimensions are now performed in decompressed pixel space.

"Images ASaP! is a surprisingly powerful image editing tool that is perfect for any website receiving and processing images," says Chris Lubeck, director of development at Pegasus Imaging Corporation. "We've responded to customer feature requests with this new version and know that it will be well received."
